Dan Johnston has been practicing law in Iowa since 2016 and joined Hopkins & Huebner in 2019. A graduate of Iowa State University and Drake University Law School, Daniel now practices primarily in employment law, human resources, municipal, and government law.
Prior to joining Hopkins & Huebner, Dan served in the United States Army Reserve for eight years. Dan was also a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Edward Mansfield of the Iowa Supreme Court where he researched diverse legal issues and assisted in drafting Iowa Supreme Court opinions.

When he's not working, Dan enjoys spending time with his family, visiting parks and trails, creative writing, and reading philosophy books. Dan also enjoys attending the occasional Iowa State football or basketball game.
