Brent Hinders appointed to Iowa Supreme Court Grievance Commission

Attorney Brent Hinders, shareholder at Hopkins & Huebner, P.C., was recently appointed to the Iowa Supreme Court Grievance Commission for a three-year term.

The Grievance Commission holds fact-finding hearings on ethical complaints filed with the Attorney Disciplinary Board. All grievance commission members are unpaid volunteers and serve to supervise lawyers and promote public confidence in the legal system on behalf of the Supreme Court.

Brent Hinders has been practicing law in Iowa since 2005, and joined Hopkins & Huebner in 2011. A graduate of Drake University Law School, Brent practices in the areas of Employment Law, Employers’ Rights, and Municipal Law.

Brent has substantial experience in advising boards on legal matters, interpreting ordinances and statutes, writing policies, reviewing and recommending modifications to ordinances, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, representing municipalities in court and has tried numerous jury and non-jury trials.
